Who We Are
NeuroNetwork is an organization that aims to foster a neuroscience community at Tufts. We engage undergraduate students with the different applications and fields of neuroscience by cultivating an inclusive space for learning. We do this by hosting various peer-led educational spaces such as our popular Eat & Educate series as well as bonding events throughout the semester. Our organization values introducing students from many majors to the field of neuroscience and sparking dialogue between individuals with diverse interests.
We are a resource that connects Tufts undergraduate students interested in neuroscience with laboratories, faculty, and graduate students by providing professional skill-building, networking opportunities, and mentorship to students of all neuroscience backgrounds. Many of our events reflect this mission such as resource rotations, course advising, and How to Find a Research Position. We also invite various speakers throughout each semester to talk on relevant topics in either seminar or panel discussion formats. Each semester we host a Research Open House with a postering session and keynote speaker. These events give students the opportunity to learn about current research as well as network with professionals in the field. Just as our name implies, our organization provides an interdisciplinary network of resources, students, and professionals centered around neuroscience.
